Born and raised in Humboldt County, he brings a strong understanding of the local community and a genuine passion for supporting others on their path to success. Known for his honesty and compassion, Gage works to build meaningful relationships with the people he serves. He believes that every individual has unique strengths and potential, and he strives to provide guidance, encouragement, and practical support throughout the employment process. Outside of work, Gage enjoys playing disc golf, painting, and spending time outdoors at the river or beach. ELIGIBILITY FOR SERVICES Student Services You must be a student (you need to be enrolled in school, but it's okay if you're on break or if school hasn't started yet). You must also be between the ages of 16 and 21 . At least one of these options must be true: You have a 504 Plan, or you’re eligible for one. You have an Individualized Education Program (IEP). You have a disability. Adult Services Must be over the age of 18 and be registered with the Department of Rehabilitation. You must also have a qualifying disability. You should be open to advice and feedback from our qualified and insightful Employment Specialists Access Services If you are not yet registered with the Department of Rehabilitation, register below. If you are already a client of the Department of Rehabilitation, make an appointment with your counselor to request a referral to Advanced Employment Group. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." Andi Bates, raised in Orange County, has over seven years of experience supporting individuals of all ages with disabilities or limitations. Known for a compassionate, creative approach, Andi is dedicated to helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered. With a background in the arts and a talent for thinking outside the box, she brings fresh perspective and warmth to her work. Alexandra Murray "My humanity is bound up in yours, for we can only be human together" – Desmond Tutu At age 11, Alexandra embarked on a journey of founding a nonprofit organization at Chapman Partnership, aimed at assisting homeless children through the transformative power of dance. Mark Mangrum “Everyone is an opportunity.” Born in Miami, Florida son of two college professors, education and serving the community was instilled at an early age. Graduate of Mars Hill College in adapted Physical education his career began as a teacher and quickly moved into administration. As the Dean at Killian Oaks Academy he gained 12 years of experience in parental support, student guidance and behavior management. Mark became National Director for One on One Learning, which serves low income families, schools and school districts. In 16 states across the nation with 2,100 employees, Mark helped grow One on One Learning from a garage company to a $7 million company. He is the owner of Smart Snacks USA for the past 11 years and Fitness Express for the last 14, Mr. Mangrum has run successful businesses both large and small servicing communities across the US.
