Work Experience Process
Intake
Clients who are referred to us by the DOR or another partner will be assigned an Employment Specialist (ES). The ES will contact the client via phone or email. This first meeting is approximately 1 hour long. The ES will take this time to get to know the client, his/her goals, and any accommodations necessary.
Worksite Development
An Employment Specialist will consider your skills and passions to present suitable worksite options. They will collaborate closely with your worksite to ensure they are prepared to support you, while also working with you to ensure you have all the resources and tools needed for success in your Work Experience.
Worksite Placement
Once your Employment Specialist coordinates a suitable work schedule with both you and the worksite, you will complete 100 hours of Work Experience.
