She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and brings several years of experience in customer service, administration, and accounting. After learning about AEG’s mission to help others, particularly individuals with disabilities, Rose felt honored to become part of such a purpose-driven organization. Joining AEG provided an opportunity to apply her expertise as a Billing Specialist while contributing to meaningful work that positively impacts people's lives. Outside of work, Rose is an avid reader who enjoys inspirational and motivational books. She is also a fan of anime, particularly the slice-of-life, action, and science fiction genres. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and has recently developed a passion for hiking and mountain climbing, embracing both the challenges and the rewarding sense of accomplishment that come with every summit reached. He is a proud migrant and first-generation UCLA graduate with a double major in Chicano/a Studies and Spanish. His journey has been shaped by resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to growth. Jose has cultivated a diverse skill set, with experience spanning construction, remodeling, and painting, as well as photography and videography as a freelancer. His dedication to giving back and serving others led him to become a Spanish high school teacher and ELD counselor. A year ago, he transitioned his drive for service into workforce development, becoming an employment specialist. He now serves in the Bay Area as a regional manager for Advanced Employment Beyond his professional pursuits, Jose is deeply committed to community and personal development. He stays active through sports and is part of a thriving community running club with hundreds of members. He also enjoys going to the gym, playing pickleball and tennis, and trying new activities, while exploring new nature places and chasing sunsets. She attended the University of Arizona and received a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice Studies with a minor in Psychology. Julia has 8+ years of experience as a human services professional with extensive experience supporting individuals and families through case management, behavioral health, and community-based programs. She is passionate in helping others overcome barriers, connect with vital resources, and achieve meaningful change. GAIN EXPERIENCE BUILD SKILLS GAIN CONFIDENCE EMPLOYER REFERENCES EXPLORE CAREERS RECEIVE PAY & MANAGE FINANCES Section Title Employment Services Process Intake Clients who are referred to us by the DOR or another partner will be assigned an Employment Specialist (ES). The ES will contact the client via phone or email. This first meeting is approximately 1 hour long. The ES will take this time to get to know the client, his/her goals, and any accommodations necessary. Employment Prep Based on the goals set in the intake, the Employment Specialist (ES) will create a customized job plan to prepare the client for the traditional employment process. This includes creating a resume, cover letter, and learning how to apply and interview for jobs. Apply & Interview The assigned Employment Specialist (ES) will support clients in preparing and executing job applications and interviews using various techniques and skills based on the clients' needs. Job Placement After applying and interviewing for jobs, the client will be placed (hired) at a job site. They will begin their new role with the help and guidance of their Employment Specialist. Retention The client's assigned Employment Specialist (ES) will provide ongoing job coaching and support to ensure retention of their employment.

Cara has a proven track record in job placements, career coaching, and leading teams to achieve measurable success. She is especially passionate about conducting vocational assessments, defining employment objectives, and tracking progress to ensure individuals achieve meaningful outcomes. Certified in UEB Braille, Cara is dedicated to accessibility and inclusion in every aspect of her work.
