Her first "job," job coaching was in 1st first grade where she took a classmate with a disability under her wing and helped him navigate the school system. She later used all of her elective periods from 7th to 12th grade working in the Special Education classes as a mentor. ELIGIBILITY FOR SERVICES Student Services You must be a student (you need to be enrolled in school, but it's okay if you're on break or if school hasn't started yet). You must also be between the ages of 16 and 21 . At least one of these options must be true: You have a 504 Plan, or you’re eligible for one. You have an Individualized Education Program (IEP). You have a disability. Adult Services Must be over the age of 18 and be registered with the Department of Rehabilitation. You must also have a qualifying disability. You're excited about the idea of starting your new journey in the professional workforce! You should be open to advice and feedback from our qualified and insightful Employment Specialists Access Services If you are not yet registered with the Department of Rehabilitation, register below. If you are already a client of the Department of Rehabilitation, make an appointment with your counselor to request a referral to Advanced Employment Group. Her expertise spans vocational assessments, work adjustment training, ADA-compliant accommodations, and thorough documentation practices. Cara has a proven track record in job placements, career coaching, and leading teams to achieve measurable success. She is especially passionate about conducting vocational assessments, defining employment objectives, and tracking progress to ensure individuals achieve meaningful outcomes. Certified in UEB Braille, Cara is dedicated to accessibility and inclusion in every aspect of her work. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys volunteering with Society for the Blind and the Special Olympics, continuing her mission to empower individuals of all abilities. People's differences, their similarities, their choices, their personalities. Sometimes it takes a variety to make a good collection. The same goes for people." – Colleen Hoover. Gabby has many years of experience working in Special Education and has worked with students at various ages to help them achieve their goals. Her passion has always been to work with people with disabilities and feels the most joy doing what she does. In High school Gabby took some ASL classes and found herself diving deep into the community. Although it has been sometime, she still is excited to carry on conversations when she can in Sign Language. She recently became a mother to her son and is loving every moment she gets with him. Her passion for creating job opportunities and financial stability for individuals with disabilities is both a personal mission and a professional calling. Tracy’s journey began at home. Growing up, she carefully saved all her class notes for her younger brother Ed, whose disability made writing difficult. Thanks to Tracy’s support, Ed went on to graduate from high school with straight A’s. This early experience shaped her lifelong commitment to breaking down barriers and uplifting others. Today, as a Job Developer, Tracy helps dozens of people with disabilities build the skills and confidence they need to thrive in the workforce. With a proven track record in job placements, career coaching, and team leadership, she continues to open doors and change lives.
