He now serves in the Bay Area as a regional manager for Advanced Employment Beyond his professional pursuits, Jose is deeply committed to community and personal development. Your AEG Employment Specialist will work closely with you to create a customized job plan so you can enter the workforce with confidence. Through Employment Services, clients build confidence and experience while learning specific job skills. GAIN EXPERIENCE BUILD SKILLS GAIN CONFIDENCE EMPLOYER REFERENCES EXPLORE CAREERS RECEIVE PAY & MANAGE FINANCES Section Title Employment Services Process Intake Clients who are referred to us by the DOR or another partner will be assigned an Employment Specialist (ES). The ES will contact the client via phone or email. This first meeting is approximately 1 hour long. The ES will take this time to get to know the client, his/her goals, and any accommodations necessary. Employment Prep Based on the goals set in the intake, the Employment Specialist (ES) will create a customized job plan to prepare the client for the traditional employment process. This includes creating a resume, cover letter, and learning how to apply and interview for jobs. Apply & Interview The assigned Employment Specialist (ES) will support clients in preparing and executing job applications and interviews using various techniques and skills based on the clients' needs. Job Placement After applying and interviewing for jobs, the client will be placed (hired) at a job site. They will begin their new role with the help and guidance of their Employment Specialist. Retention The client's assigned Employment Specialist (ES) will provide ongoing job coaching and support to ensure retention of their employment.
