"As an Employment Specialist, Lizeth is passionate about community-centered work and creating culturally competent spaces that empower individuals to reach both employment and personal goals. As a bilingual professional, she values the importance of accessible communication and meaningful relationship-building across diverse communities. Her approach is grounded in creating inclusive, person-centered environments where participants feel respected, understood, and supported throughout their employment journey. She believes that employment services extend beyond job placement and should promote confidence, independence, and long-term personal growth.

Lizeth brings experience supporting tribal youth and at-risk youth through mentorship, career guidance, and opportunities that encourage educational and workforce development. Through her work in community and educational settings, she has developed a strong commitment to helping individuals identify their strengths, build skills, and navigate pathways toward success. Her passion for serving youth has expanded into supporting adults as well, recognizing that meaningful employment can create positive change for individuals, families, and communities. She is dedicated to helping participants establish realistic goals while providing encouragement and practical tools to help them succeed.

In her current role, Lizeth collaborates closely with the Northern Sierra District Department of Rehabilitation offices across Grass Valley, Chico, Redding, Red Bluff, and Yuba City to provide coordinated employment services and individualized support. She works collaboratively with counselors and community partners to ensure participants receive services that align with their goals, cultural backgrounds, and support needs. Through advocacy, employment planning, and culturally responsive practices, Lizeth remains committed to helping both youth and adults gain meaningful employment, strengthen self-sufficiency, and achieve personal milestones that contribute to long-term success.
